If you want a true South Florida fishing experience, Lifeline Charters is ready to take you where the fish and the scenery both deliver. Based in Homestead, Captain David runs private backcountry and bay trips built for small groups who want a fun day on the water without the crowds. The Everglades, Florida Bay, and Biscayne Bay are known around the world for variety. Here, you can catch saltwater and freshwater species in the same day while surrounded by calm flats, mangrove shorelines, and wildlife that reminds you why this area is so special.
Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Sea Trout, Bonefish, Permit, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and Peacock Bass are some of the usual suspects. Seasons and tides shape the day, so every trip feels like its own adventure. Captain David watches the current conditions and chooses the best spots to give you the strongest chance at success. He takes his time with beginners and enjoys coaching kids, but experienced anglers love fishing with him too. Light tackle is the main approach, and fly anglers are welcome to bring their own setup if they would like.
You will be fishing from a clean, well kept boat designed for inshore and backcountry travel. It is a comfortable ride for up to two guests and makes it easy to reach shallow areas where big fish like to hide. All licenses, rods, reels, tackle, and water are included. Live bait is provided if needed. Just bring non spray sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks, and whatever you want to drink. Alcohol is fine in moderation, but please avoid glass bottles. Captain David handles the rest.
Meeting locations include Flamingo Marina inside Everglades National Park, Black Point Marina in Biscayne Bay, and Crandon Park Marina. He will confirm the best pickup based on the trip you choose. If you have questions about species limits or what can be kept for dinner, ask the captain and he will be happy to help.
Lifeline Charters welcomes families, first timers, and anyone who loves being outdoors.
